How to Monitor Ping using CMD in Dota 2

Players is in doubt to play dota 2 because they might have a bad ping, which is not reliable in just selecting servers before playing the game. This Guide will help you get rid of that doubt.

1. Press Window Key + R, Then type CMD.



2. type ping "server" -t



select your server below

syd.valve.net - Australia
200.73.67.1 - Chile
dxb.valve.net - Dubai
vie.valve.net - Europe East 1
185.25.182.1 - Europe East 2
lux.valve.net - Europe West 1
146.66.158.1 - Europe West 2
116.202.224.146 - India
191.98.144.1 - Peru
sto.valve.net - Russia 1
185.25.180.1 - Russia 2
sgp-1.valve.net - SE Asia 1
sgp-2.valve.net - SE Asia 2
cpt-1.valve.net - South Africa 1
197.80.200.1 - South Africa 2

If you're quite lazy then may also try this.

1. open notepad and type your ping "server" -t



2. Press Control + S and type "Dota2.bat"



3. Run Dota 2 and cmd ping will automatically open.


so my connection is not good today since it rising to 252. enjoy. ^_^
